GMR Airports Limited (Formerly GMR Airports Infrastructure Limited) had entered into a Share Purchase Agreement ("SPA") with Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide ("Fraport") towards acquisition of 10% equity shareholding of Delhi International Airport Limited ("DIAL") (a subsidiary of the Company) held by Fraport.
On receipt of requisite approvals and fulfilment of conditions precedent, the process of transfer of shares and exchange of consideration between the Company and Fraport has been concluded.
Post this acquisition, the Company's shareholding in DIAL now stands increased from 64% to 74%.
Shares of GMR Infrastructure Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 73.71 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 74.18. The total number of shares traded during the day was 345191 in over 3106 trades.
