Swan's Shipyard (RNEL) has made a payment of Rs. 196 crores to its lender consortium in accordance with the payment schedule laid down in the NCLT approved Resolution Plan for Reliance Naval and Engineering Limited (RNEL). Originally scheduled for December 23, 2024, the payment was completed ahead of time on December 19, 2024.
With this milestone, Swan's Shipyard reaffirms its commitment to becoming the largest private player in India's commercial, defence manufacturing, and heavy engineering sectors. The shipyard is poised to develop cutting-edge infrastructure, setting new benchmarks in the global shipbuilding industry.
