Sai Silks (Kalamandir) Limited has announced the Business update of the Company for the Quarter ended September, 2024 subject to audit.
The company achieved a turnover of about Rs. 347 crores during Q2 FY 2024-25, against Rs. 326 Crores in Q2 FY 2023-24.
During the quarter, Two Stores (i.e., 62nd & 63rd store) under the brand of "Kanchipuram Varamahalakshmi Silks" were opened on August 22, 2024 at Purusaivakkam, Chennai, Tamilnadu with 8,000 sft and on September 5, 2024 at Madurai, Tamilnadu with 8,000 sft.
In connection with search and seizure was conducted on May 2, 2023,
a. For the AY 2020-21 the Company has filed a revised return with an additional tax liability of Rs. 1,06,37,930/-.
b. For the AY 2021-22 the Company has filed a revised return with an additional tax liability of Rs. 6,75,931/-.
c. For the AY 2022-23 a demand notice for Rs.3,66,42,563/- is received and accepted by the Company. In respect of AY 2022-23, a sum of expenses was disallowed by the Income tax department on estimation basis.
Shares of Sai Silks Kalamandir Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 177.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 173.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 23468 in over 983 trades.
