StoxBox: BUY Rating for Sunteck Realty with a Target Price of Rs. 516

Posted On: 2024-05-28 11:17:59 (Time Zone: IST)

Sunteck Realty Ltd., founded by Kamal Khetan in 2000, is a leading Indian luxury real estate developer. Known for innovative projects and financial prudence, SRL uses an asset-light Joint Development Agreement (JDA) model to acquire significant projects without substantial upfront cash outflow. This strategy compensates landowners with a share of customer collections, minimizing initial financial burdens and securing over 13 million sq. ft. of saleable area.

Manish Chowdhury, Head of Research at StoxBox, has given Sunteck Realty Ltd a "BUY" rating with a target price of Rs. 516 per share. This represents a 15.0% upside from the current market price (CMP). Manish added: "The valuation is based on a projected P/E of 86x for FY25E earnings. This takes into account SRL's premium brand positioning, strong track record, and ambitious growth plans. Sunteck Realty Ltd has the potential to double its Gross Development Value (GDV) from Rs. 300 billion to Rs. 600 billion by FY25."

SRL's reputation for delivering high-quality projects is reinforced by its diverse brand portfolios and landmark developments such as Signature Island at BKC and Sunteck City in Goregaon. With a strong pre-sales CAGR of over 21% in the last five years and upcoming projects like Sunteck Maxx World, Naigaon, and Sunteck City 4th Avenue, ODC Goregaon, SRL is well-positioned for continued success. The launch of ultra-luxury and redevelopment projects, including those in Nepean Sea Road and Bandstand, further highlights SRL's strategic expansion plans.

Manish underscores the significance of SRL's strategic direction: "SRL's strategic initiatives and diversification into commercial spaces position the company for robust growth. The asset-light approach mitigates financial risks, enabling SRL to pursue expansive projects without compromising financial stability." SRL has expanded its portfolio to include commercial office spaces and residential projects, generating substantial rental revenues in fiscal year 2024. The company's asset-light model, expansion into commercial spaces, strong brand positioning, and project pipeline are considered factors for growth potential. Manish recommends SRL's positive outlook and "BUY" rating for the company over the next 12 months, combining prudent financial management with its strong asset-light model, expansion into commercial spaces, and strong project pipeline.

Shares of Sunteck Realty Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 453.80 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 448.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 15030 in over 785 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 458.45 and intraday low of 447.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 6821531.00.
